It will be a project collaboration of six student societies that include the UN Society, Human Rights Society, Sociology and Social Justice Society, Women in Business Society, Students for Children Society, and Student Action for Refugees Society. This project will have an anticipated participation rate of 500 students. The event aims to generate a self-sustaining community interest in discussing more about human trafficking and encourage participants to propose realistic solutions to human trafficking.
We intend to dedicate each day of the week to exploring the effect of human trafficking on a specific demographic group – women, children, refugees, modern slavery and general human trafficking. Some of our events will include academic lectures from high profile speakers, a documentary screening and crisis MUN conference on human trafficking.
Your sponsorship will help ensure the success of our awareness event. In turn, the UN Society will be able to offer you access to highly-sought after LSE students, including the members of our MUN team, which is the second-best in Europe. It is also an excellent avenue to attract students to your job placements or volunteering opportunities as they gain a better understanding of you firm’s cutting-edge work through our website, social media and weekly newsletters.
