About the event
Travocation is a startup travel agency that focuses on creating customized trips, which include flight, accommodations, excursions, and transportation. The overall focus of Travocation is to create a social community that enjoys luxury travel at an affordable price. Our product/service includes special perks, such as private jet flights, and lodging in secret villas around the world.
We are planning to hold our launch party sometime in April (depending on the availability of the space), and are currently seeking out venues for the event. The purpose of the event is to inform people of our company, collaborate with sponsors and establish possible partnerships, and most importantly enjoy a nice day together!
At this point the event will be host to social influencers, and it will be recorded by a professional videographer and photographer. For these reasons, Travocation does not have a large budget for this event, but the event will be a great opportunity to form relationships with the sponsors, and generate large amounts social media publicity.
Aside from this, Travocation would also promote the sponsors in the company’s website, social media pages, and individual customer bookings.
Layout of the event:
Open area, possibly poolside, to which guests would have access to the pool.
We are requesting small sample/shot bottles for our Premium guests.
We aim to have the first drinks for our guests free, and are open to the idea of wine being served to guests in place of this from the bar.
We are seeking sponsors to help offset the costs to rent the venue, provide for catering, and for marketing materials for the companies and sponsors involved in the event.
This is potential for sponsorship for future events as well, as we would ideally have events somewhat often, in different cities, targeted around highly populated customer cities.

Why should you sponsor?
Travocation is a new age of traveling. It allows those to chase their dreams and live luxuriously without having to break a person's budget in the process. The company itself works on a much lower than industry commission rate, proving that the goals for the company really are to connect and help others out. However, to be able to do this, we are asking for support to make our events as wonderful as possible, while still on a budget ourselves.
Though this is only our first event, we already have future events brewing up for long term possibilities with any companies who sponsor us.
In addition, at this first event, there will plenty of networking and socializing, allowing for each individual guest to have full exposure to the brands present.
My name is Ian Alvarez, and I am the Executing Marketing Director. My girlfriend, Mary Herman, and I decided to start this company due to the way we had been traveling. We are both young and hardworking, yet love traveling, and living largely. We are constantly exploring new places, as both tourists and locals in foreign countries. Through our experiences, we have generated much interest through our social media handles as well as through personal conversations on how we are able to do so much on realtively small budgets. What started as small pointers to friends and family quickly grew into the business we are now planning the launch party for!
As this is something we are both very passionate about, we are focusing on how we can spread the word and expand the company while sharing the information we have gathered through personal experiences. Combining our passion with business was only natural, as Mary majored as a Business Administration Major through the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, and I majored in Marketing through Rutgers Business School.
Although this is a fun idea for us, we are approaching it very seriously, and intend to make smart decisions that will benefit the company as well as any sponsors who begin to work with us. The company has plans to expand events into other cities domestically, as well as internationally later on this year. We have already partnered with pretiguous companies, such as a private jet operator, and hotel companies across Miami Beach and Los Angeles, prior to our launch.
The way we see it, is that this is a small investment for a promising look into the new age of traveling and connecting. More and more people are wanting to travel, and how could you not? Each Instagram post is some type of "Travel Goals" whether it also be "Relationship Goals" or "Backyard Goals." After all, wouldn't YOU do weekend trips to Rome, Italy each week if the price was right?
