About the event

You are invited to celebrate the community of people that support Interfaith Food Pantry and Resource Center’s good work! Our mission to serve Morris County residents struggling to feed their families can only be met with the support of organizations seeking to make a difference in their communities. That’s why this year’s Annual Spring Gala is appropriately titled, Together We Make an Impact. It will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany.

Specifically, we will be honoring Impact 100 - Garden State. This organization of philanthropic women provide high-impact transformational grants to non-profits.  Impact’s grant funded our Healthy Choices Mobile Pantry, which has enabled the IFPRC to reach thousands of people through community partnerships that otherwise would not have access to the healthy food and nutrition education we provide. Last year 16% of the 1.2 million pounds of food we distributed was through our Mobile Pantry and the number continues to grow.

Your sponsorship of this 2020 event will help us meet the accelerated demand for our food through our two Client Choice Pantries and the expanding number of collaborative partnerships established by our Healthy Choices Mobile Pantry. Not to mention you will want to be part of this Roaring 20’s-themed party. The special cocktails, scrumptious food and spectacular auction items promises to be the bee’s knees!

The Interfaith Food Pantry and Resource Center is a community of “neighbors helping neighbors” committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. Through our community partners we provide nutritious food, education and resources to inspire confidence and hope to Morris County families in need.

I have worked for this organziation for the last 5 years and have seen first hand the impact they have on the community.
