A CD release party to celebrate the release of Tim O'Connell's new CD, "On That Hillbilly Highway."
Why should you sponsor?
Tim is one of the few songwriters still alive who have had a song recorded by Johnny Cash. He has been interviewed this year by WSM Radio 650 and by WTVF Channel 5. The party will last three hours, and people will be drinking. A sponsor can build brand awareness and sell drinks.
Tim O'ConnellI'm a songwriter who has been writing songs in Nashville for more than 50 years. I have won two ASCAPLUS awards. My song, "A Singer of Songs," which I plan on peforming, was the primary musical background for a video played at Johnny Cash's funeral. One reviewer said that Cash's recording of the song was "one of the most moving and inspiring things I have ever heard committed to tape."
My son is the mayor of Nashvillle, and I'm not going to do anything that would reflect badly on him.
