Charm Weddings sends out a Call for Entries in spring. Contestants must make a wedding dress and headpiece using only Toilet Paper, Tape, Glue and/or Needle and Thread. Deadline for photo entries is 8 weeks later. Photo entries and Entry forms are processed, and out of approximately 1500 entries, about 20 top dresses are chosen based on the criteria of Originality, Creativity, Beauty, Workmanship, and the use of Toilet Paper! The top semifinalist entries are mailed to Charm Weddings to be judged.
We then choose the top 10 to move on to the finalerunway event.
Leading up to the finale, Fans and Followerschoose a Fan Favorite through Online Voting.
The winner is announced during the finale event.At the finale event, the dresses are showcased on models. Judges score and choose a Grand Prize Winner and Second and Third Place Winners.
The top three entrants are announced and the fan favorite is awarded. The Grand prize winner also receives a branded winner sash. Media outreach starts at the announcement and goes through to the finale event.
