About the event
The Moor House School & College Red Carpet Charity Ball is a chic fundraising event consisting of a 3 course meal, live music, magician and charity auction hosted by Grant Ford of the BBC Antiques Roadshow.
Why should you sponsor?
Moor House School & College is a pioneering charity in Oxted, Surrey, offering specialist teaching, therapy and residential care to young people aged 7-19 with severe and complex speech and language disabilities from all over the UK.
We at Moor House are incredibly proud of our history. For 70 years we have been providing outstanding education and care for young people with complex speech and language disabilities.
Presently, a growing number of children entering school have significant difficulties with speech and language. We know that if left untreated, this can lead to behavioural issues, low self-esteem, mental health problems and limited employment prospects.
A sharp rise in student numbers at Moor House means we are set to see them double from 80 in 2010, to an expected 160 by 2018, and we now need to expand our teaching, learning and therapy infrastructure to continue to help speech and language impaired children to maximise their learning and communication potential.

The Red Carpet Charity Ball is a sophisticated affair which includes a 3 course meal, live music, photographer and auction. In order to wow our guests and encourage them to donate to our wonderful charity, we want to make our venue stylish and chic with some beautiful decor and a mesmerising magician. The sponsor will be recognised via out website and social media channels, named in press releases, publically thanked on the night and included in the event brochure. We will endeavour to honour any additional requests.

The auction prize donors will be recognised via out website and social media channels, named in press releases, publically thanked on the night and included in the event brochure.
