The Positivity Charge is a health and wellness day retreat in which attendees are exposed to methods positive thinking to cultivate success in all areas of their life. TPC is co-founded by Parisha Smith and Rubina Tahir, following their personal, positive journey to fuel stronger health and wellness initiatives. Did you know that research consistently supports that positive thinkers are better at building skills, boosting health, and improving work outcomes? The TPC focuses on 3 main areas of health practices: BUILD, FUEL, and BODY. Health is the sum of what we do in any given day, and the TPC program uniquely provides attendees the means to become a better version of YOU.

On December 3rd, 2016 the 1st annual TPC wellness day retreat took place to a sellout crowd. Our goal is to bring together like-minded individuals and provide a day of empowerment that focuses on self-care practices. “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.' The mind-body connection is a powerful tool and at TPC we believe in preparing body to receive information. Thus, the day opens with a group yoga session. Learning from highly successful people is exactly what the attendees want to be exposed to. TPC yoga instructor Paul Dunn states that “Yoga speaks to ceasing the fluctuations of the mind..and allowing your radiant spirit to come forth: positivity”. We deliver on providing trained professionals to lead the movement and ensure the safety of all attendees.

The TPC is a unique experience in that we organize two 35 min motivational speakers to take the stage. Motivation is important because it provides the drive for people to accomplish their goals, maintain their responsibilities, or solve problems. Hearing personal stories from highly successful people is a cornerstone for the TPC retreat. Build, fuel and body are the signature workshops that have been carefully designed by TPC. Attendees are given the option to choose one of the three breakout sessions led by prominent industry leaders. Smaller group activities provide a more intimate setting, and access to information about specific health and wellness topics.
TPC 2016 offered breakout sessions to master success in vision board creation, healthy snack recipes, and body language as a tool for success. Workshops are crafted to provide insight and techniques that attendees can implement into their daily life right away! We take away stress and feelings of being overwhelmed so you can spark insight and re-activate your mind.

Dr. Rubina Tahir is a board certified Chiropractor, and can best be described as a woman on a mission to inspire healthy lifestyles. When she is not in the office treating patients, you can catch her hosting and producing The Rx and The Philly Doctors, airing only on My New Philly. Both shows are designed to present current health information, and tips on how you can better your health. She is known as The Health Referee, a health column with Philly Man Magazine, and is a contributor to The Huffington Post Blog. As an instructor for New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Rubina educates Chiropractors for continuing education on topics such as sleep and ergonomics.
