This event is close to our hearts and is going to be Very Lyriq-Melody, it is her Birthday Party after all! The She Babyprenuer and tiny social media influencer! Your Tiny Homegirl Lyriq-Melody is turning 1!

From the womb Lyriq-melody's mom suffered from Hyperemesis gravidarum, HG affects over a million women across the globe every year meaning at least 2% of pregnant women suffer from the debilitating condition. These statistics are drawn mostly from cases of HG which are diagnosed, treated, or reported by women who have access to quality health care, Unfortunately, we know that BIWOC (Black, Indigenous and Women of Color), particularly Black women, have additional systemic hurdles to overcome to gain quality HG treatment and specialized medical care during pregnancy. All while her dad  suffered a stroke at just 33 years old which stemmed from high blood pressure about 55% of Black adults have high blood pressure, also known as hypertension or HBP. Black people also have disproportionately high rates of more severe HBP and it develops earlier in life. It is said that lack of access to medication, and distrust of health care professionals based on historical discrimination, are also among contributing factors to a lower adherence to blood pressure medications in this case as well. In our community it is called the silent killer! Are we seeing a pattern here guys?

When Lyriq-Melody was born she was diagnosed with tongue tie, which is not well known or widely discussed in urban communities, she took the assistance of a specialist to help her learn how to eat, swallow and prevent speech issues as she learns to talk. These issues come down to community, access to quality healthcare, adequate insurance, information on personal credit, which leads you to better banking and even home ownership. We'd like to place a heavy focus on todays youth and celebrate them, encourage kid entrepreneurship, childhood educational enrichment and development ! Theres something for everyone! There will be a Kids Talent Show, Kids Fashion Show, Food, Music, Seminars, Pop up shops & more!  Being from Daytona Beach, FL we have realized that poverty is at the forefront of our community, and it is served with little resources,  please help us to blow out our candles, its our birthday because were starting a new as we share everything  from fabulous shops, delicious eats, amazing talent, and tons of wonderful resources with you!

    Why should you sponsor?

The povery level of Daytona Beach is at almost 20% according to the census bureau and the health of a resident of Daytona beach resident to be on the decline because of Obesity, Binge Drinking, Smoking, and Physical Inactivity according to the CDC with numbers of Health outcomes of High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, Mental Health Not Good, Physical Health Not Good coming in at over 25% and also according to the Census bureau African American and American Indian or Alaska Native coming in as the lowest incomes of Daytona Beach area on average making less than $20,000 a year. The Black female with children in accounting for over 73% of head of households, the highest level of education in the whole city accounted for is that of a high school diploma at 13.4k with a population of 68.7k accoding to the census Bureau. 805 with no schooling completed, 7.19k with a batchelors degree 2.75 with a masters degree and only 474 with a doctorate. I say that to scream my community is under educated, the children in my community are under served, adequate healthcare in the community is needed. The oppertunity to celebrate children, to celebrate entrepreneurship, talent, and uplift the community is all needed for my home town. We need sponsors that we can trust ones that will be here for the long haul, health care networks that care, insurance companies that can help us bridge gaps that have been filled with go fund me, builders, and realtors restoring our communities, venues that welcome us, banks that can help us understand the system! You should be a vendor with me and change lifes with customers that need you!
