The Love Remix is a weekend getaway for married, engaged and commited couples. We basically set the stage for couples to unplug from the daily grind of life and take time to reconnect with each other.
We just completed our first retreat in Dallas, Texas February 16-17th, 2019. We had 108 couples that attended the one day event. The upcoming Houston Love Remix will be for two days, at a larger hotel with 250 couples!

The weekend is comprised of entertaining events, but the main focus are the breakout sessions held on Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Houston will be featuring the Couples Communication Experience Curriculum, which is four 1.5 hr sessions discussing various aspects of communication between two people.

ABOUT OUR AUDIENCE:
The audience for this event is comprised of mature minded individuals that are family and relationship oriented. Attending this weekend retreat also indicates that attendees most likely have dual household and disposable incomes. The age demographic for the Dallas event was majoritively middle aged (32 - 48). Our audience is social media inclined. 80-85% of our audience for the Dallas event was attributed directly to our social media marketing via FB and IG.

The Love Remix was founded by Corey Akins. He also created a media company based out of Dallas, Texas called Abstract Concepts Inc. developer of entertainment/event website Dallasblack.com in 1999.

Corey and his wife attended Couples Counseling for several months and found it to be a huge benefit to their relationship. He then came up with the idea that couples counseling shouldn't be seen as a social stigma but should be embraced by the mainstream! He coupled his 20 years of event marketing experience with his passion/mission and the Love Remix was born.
