    The Love for All: Base-Ball event is a Valentine's Day celebration with a baseball theme, taking place at the Red Bird Club within Busch Stadium. As a mental health practice, we've incorporated the "Love for All" concept into the theme to address the struggles many people face with depression and anxiety during the Valentine's Day season. Our aim is to organize an inclusive and enjoyable Valentine's Day ball and fundraiser, contrasting it with more exclusive and romantic events.

    Our Mission:

    To provide equitable access to counseling services for all individuals in the Greater St. Louis area.

    Our Vision:

    To create inclusive opportunities for individuals from all walks of life. We are dedicated to eliminating wait periods for those in urgent need of mental health services, with a particular focus on individuals at-risk of suicide. By empowering these individuals, we envision a community characterized by reduced crime rates, decreased instances of drug/alcohol abuse, suicide, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from trauma. Through our efforts, we strive to enhance overall well-being and foster a society where everyone has access to the support they need.

    Event Goal:

    The primary objective of this event is to generate funds to sustain our mission of offering free counseling sessions to children and young adults aged 25 and under.


    Michelle Hopson

    Hi, I'm Michelle!

    As a Fundraising Specialist for a mental health nonprofit, I bring a unique perspective to my work, driven by personal experiences that have shaped my passion for helping others. Growing up, I faced the challenges of being bullied, which had a profound impact on my emotional well-being. Despite having a loving and supportive middle-class upbringing, my struggles with depression went unnoticed by those around me.

    Through my own journey, I have developed a deep understanding of the hidden battles many children face today. This realization has ignited a fire within me to ensure that every child receives the care and support they deserve. It is my unwavering commitment to make a positive impact in their lives.

    In pursuit of this mission, I have found my calling in planning campaigns and organizing events for mental health awareness and support. I firmly believe that raising awareness and fostering an environment of empathy and understanding are crucial steps towards addressing the challenges that many individuals face. This dream job allows me to combine my passion for mental health advocacy with my organizational skills, ensuring that impactful initiatives are brought to life.

    With empathy as my guiding principle, I am dedicated to contributing in ways which ensure that those in need receive compassionate, effective and accessible care. It’s my desire to see individuals in the Greater St. Louis Area and beyond, navigating their mental health journeys, being empowered to overcome obstacles and thriving. Together, let us break the silence, erase the stigma, and create a world where everyone can access the care and support they deserve.
