About the event

Developing healthy lifestyle habits in young children and their families. The 1-5k encourages the youngest children and their parents to come out, have fun, get a medal with shirt and enjoy the day without competitive pressure.  Developing positive attitudes about fitness from a young age when attitudes are being formed about exercise.

Why should you sponsor?

This is a great way to promote family fitness, encourage fitness from a young age (preschool through high school) and develop customers from an early age   in order to keep them over time.  The focus in on preventing diseases of lifestyle such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity while learning that healthy habits of sound eating and regular exercise can be fun and help you feel good!

KID-FIT is a preschool fitness program developed in 1994 that went into preschools around the world teaching healthy habits through a complete exercise routine with fun children's music  When the pandemic struck we were forced to pivot to livestream classes and training early childhood educators about the importance of developing healthy habits from day one.  Now we focus on providing free special education exercise videos on YouTube for children with disabilities, and do an annual 1-5k to promote childhood/family fitness.
