The KC Multicultural Chamber Choir: One Voice,

Kansas City, Missouri, United States Kansas City, Missouri, United States

  • About the event

"One Voice" is a Classical Music Choir Concert dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless. The Kansas City Multicultural Chamber Choir has a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and exposing members of the community to classical arts that otherwise may never have had access to it. This concert makes this possible by bringing together sixteen singers of all different backgrounds, education levels, and experiences in order to create one, singular musical experience.

    Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring this event would give your company the opportunity to not only demonstrate its patronage to the arts but also shows support for Kansas City Youth, Urban Core Development, Diversity & Inclusion, The LGBTQIA Community, & Non-Profit Organizations. You'll be giving a brand new arts organization the opportunity to plant its feet in the ground and provide music and entertainment to the local community.

    Vaughan Harrison

Vaughan Harrison is a tenacious musical director, actor, and vocal coach in Kansas City, Missouri. He's had an affinity for the arts ever since he was a child. He started training in Classical vocal music at the age of 16 and now teaches people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. He is an avid supporter of arts within the urban community and advocates for arts programs within local school districts. Vaughan has been associated with many large arts organizations within the city including but not limited to The Kansas City Symphony Chorus, The Metropolitan Ensemble Theater, & Union Stations City Stage Theater.

After creating and running a successful 2016 Season by running a sold-out Christmas concert at The Aquarium [Theater] with The Kansas City African American Carolers, he dissolved the group and created The Kansas City Multicultural Chamber Choir in order to appeal to a much wider audience with the ability to be able to perform music year-round.
