Why should you sponsor?
With a 5-star rating amongst filmmakers and writers worldwide, The International Horror Hotel has developed a great following and strong reputation in just a few short years. The 2018 festival will mark the 7th edition of the event, and we are seeking new sponsors to partner with in making it our largest and best year yet. We have a number of varied options for sponsors and donors alike, helping you find just the right option to promote your brand/name to creative professionals and film fans alike. The horror fan community is one of the broadest, most diverse niche audiences you can reach. Let's grow together as we reach out to more fans, followers, and film lovers.
"According to Nielsen Fanlinks 2015 data, horror movie fans are 23% more likely than the average consumer to be between the ages of 35 and 44. That means quite a few are Gen Xers who grew up watching Wes Craven slasher classics like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream. Today, this group seems happy to make fear a family affair, as horror movie fans are 24% more likely to be part of a three or more person household, with children skewing between the ages of 6 and 17.
Macabre movies are also especially popular among the diverse horror fan audience; horror fans are 23% more likely to be Hispanic than the average consumer and 15% more likely to be African-American."
I'm Ray Szuch, founder of The International Horror Hotel. I have been running film festivals for twenty-three years now, having created The Indie Gathering International Film Festival in 1995. I love every minute of working in the film industry, and my goal with the festivals is to bring together as many filmmakers I can and help to facilitate as many positive relationships and as many film productions as I can.
I am a three-time Emmy-winning producer and a three-time Telly-winning executive producer. I am also the creator of the Horror Hotel TV Show, which we are pairing the festival with to provide sponsors with advertising packages in exchange for their monetary donation or sponsorship.
