    Dru Lomax

My family has been into music since my grand father was born. As a child I would go to the studio with my father and I became closer and closer to the music every night I was there. I mean I was 9 years old in the studio with grown men at 2 or 3 in the morning. I have always recognized the work ethic required to make great quality music.  I found that process to be fun and an exciting. As I became a teenager I bought studio equipment and my father gave me some of his old equipment at age 13. When I got older doing music every day made me wonder how I could start a business in engineering music. I ended up charging friends and neighbors to record & mix for them. I had to go into the military however, I never stopped recording music. Once I got some college courses while serving, I figured out how I can create a small passive income. When I left the marine corps my brother and I started Dysfunctional Family ENT in 2012. We have put out multiple projects that help us build a fan base to allow us to tour and start a real leap for our careers. Since then it has been trial and error to advance our careers. We have gotten the local music since down to a science when it comes to marketing, events, and over all consistency.
