About the event

Our festival, tentatively scheduled for March 23rd and 24th, 2024, transcends the ordinary; it is a powerful platform for driving positive change within our community. We have meticulously crafted our event around three core pillars that define its essence:

1. Sponsor Survivors:
   Our festival is dedicated to raising funds to sponsor survivors of sexual violence, enabling them to access The Meadows Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program in Scottsdale, Arizona.
2. Raising for RAINN:
   In addition to supporting survivors, a significant portion of the revenue generated will be directed towards assisting the nonprofit organization, RAINN, in their vital work.
3. Safety for Victims:
   Our comprehensive plan includes discreet support for sexual violence victims attending the festival, providing them with a secure and confidential means to escape their violent situations.

I am a mother to two wonderful girls and a devoted wife. Additionally, I am a survivor of sexual violence, an experience that has significantly influenced the person I have become. My own journey of survival has been the driving force behind my unwavering commitment to creating the Survivor's Rise Benefit Festival.

Motivated by the desire to make a positive impact and provide support for those who have faced similar challenges, I envisioned this festival as a safe and inclusive space for survivors to find healing, hope, and strength. It's also an opportunity for people from all over Arizona to come together and have a great time. My personal journey as a survivor has ignited a passion for giving back to the community and a dedication to creating a better future for survivors.

In addition to my beautiful family life, I am also an artist and a nature enthusiast. I find solace in hiking, and I have a deep appreciation for Korean culture. My husband and I are learning the Korean language and look forward to one day visiting Korea with our daughters.

The Survivor's Rise Benefit Festival is a cause that is close to my heart. It's not just about making a difference and helping current victims; it's also about providing an opportunity for everyone to come together and have a great time.
