Summer of Groove (Live Stream Music Event),

Balatonkenese, Hungary Balatonkenese, Hungary

  • About the event

    Hi,

    Hope you are well,

I’m Reuben Green - the founder of Groove School Records and I am writing to present to you an event that we are seeking sponsorship for

I came across an incredible space located in Hungary that I believe is the perfect location for the event. We felt that this event would be a great tool for marketing or content.

This is a 4 day event with some of the biggest names in up and coming music, content creators who will produce high quality visual content and a streamed event that will show the venue across the week to a large number of viewers.

Last year I started my own label and we have seen a steady growth over the last few months. Since November 2020 we have released our first compilation “Groove School Records Presents - Global Vibrations vol.1” available on all streaming platforms and a 12” Vinyl via Bandcamp. This compilation has been very successful and now i’d like to showcase some of these incredible artists in the form of a live event.

It's been far too long since we could come together and endure some live music. The world situation seems to be improving however we must still be careful and limit the number of guests. With this in mind I have instead put together an idea for an event that will allow a small number of us to come together and perform live to a virtual audience on stream/broadcasted radio event.

We have an agreement with Mixcloud to broadcast the event. Mixcloud currently have 17 million monthly active users. “We Out Here Festival: Online & On Air” is an event currently hosted on Mixcloud and it is very similar to the event I wish to provide. It also shows the listenership and audience involvement Mixcloud is able to attain.

Sponsor: Groove School Records has only just begun, we are looking for a sponsor that could help fund this event. With artists booked, an incredible venue located in Hungary and Mixcloud as the home for the stream we are well on our way to making this happen. Please see attached for a visual representation of the event ..

Host: Reuben Green, weekly host of The Groove School Show on Croydon FM & Founder of Groove School Records. Recently presented the The Rhythm of Afro Jazz show on Jazz FM and The Playlist on Jazz FM.

Broadcasting: Mixcloud Stream - Croydon FM for one individual broadcast show - Currently speaking with Worldwide FM (https://worldwidefm.net) who are also interested in broadcasting the event. Their listenership currently boasts 130,000 listeners a month and with 98.k followers on Instagram we believe it will drive a lot of traffic our way.

Safety: The entire world has been longing for the day that we can enjoy live music again. However I want to make sure it's a safe event and do not want to risk us all just yet. Each person coming to stay or perform will be Covid friendly (or vaccinated). Plus instead of hosting a live show to a large audience we decided to host a live intimate gig that virtually can be shared with everyone who wants to groove. Free of charge, just click the link, show support and enjoy.

Although I mentioned that we are in conversation with a few broadcasters, this does not mean it's the only option in regards to streaming/broadcasting the content. If you wish to use our event for another platform or idea you have then please do inform me - we are flexible with where we virtually host the event. Perhaps you want exclusive content for your platform only? Or exclusive content with a partnering brand

Hope to hear from you soon

    Why should you sponsor?

An opportunity to get their product or services seen to a target market of 18 - 30 year olds with interests in music, nightlife, socialising, alcohol, fashion & travel.

Audience based in UK, Germany & Melbourne

Constant advertising through the 4 days and post event content

Artists have a good following on instagram and listenership on streaming platforms
