Sterling Shipp

Sterling D’Von Shipp, a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, is an individual that wants to make a change; a change to promote positive youth development and a change in his community. He is dedicated to leading his peers and those whom he encounters. He is strong and determined to achieve and promote academic excellence. For those who know him, have watched him excel in academics, leadership and community involvement.

Sterling D’Von Shipp is a recent graduate of the University of Florida (2023), having earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Education & Behavior and a Minor in Anthropology. He is on the pre-medicine track and aspires to be a surgeon. 

He has received numerous awards and has been given the opportunity as an orator to speak amongst the community, mayors, City Commissioners, the Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Scholarship Breakfast, churches and other prominent groups. When he is not speaking, he is featured on podcasts, mentoring youth through the Palm Beach County School District, writing, and creating graphic/digital designs through his small business One Sterling LLC, for individuals, churches, and organizations such as the NAACP West Palm Beach Branch 5143B. 

In addition to this, Sterling has aspirations to become a real estate investor, world-wide traveler, and most of all, a young philanthropist.
