    Why should you sponsor?

    Dear Sponsors,

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Union is holding its 40th Annual Greek Festival! St. Demetrios utilizes the yearly Festival to fund youth groups’ activities, community outreach, and religious education.

We are writing to invite your business to participate as a sponsor in this year’s event. All donations are valued and much appreciated by our organization and by our 10,000 patrons.

The annual Festival is the biggest fundraising event of the year for St. Demetrios. It will run for FOUR days from Thursday, September 7 at 6pm – Sunday, September 10 until 8pm.

Benefits of Supporting the St. Demetrios Greek Festival:

    • Our homemade food and pastries, live music and entertainment draw over 10,000 people to our 4-day event – one of the longest festivals in NJ with the most homemade food!
    • With each donation, your business has the potential to grow new and repeat clientele. Our community members and festival patrons deeply appreciate the local businesses that donate to our Festival. And, with many business owners as members and patrons, your business has the potential to grow with corporate clients, too.
    • You and your business can take pride in being a good corporate citizen.

Please know that all contributions you make will positively impact your business as well as our organization. The deadline for sponsorship is August 20, 2017 in order to meet printing deadlines. Please see attached form for sponsorship details. For more information, please contact Church Office at (908) 964-7957.

On behalf of our community, we thank you for your time and consideration, and we look forward to discussing your sponsorship for the 2017 St. Demetrios Union Greek Festival.

    Sofia Paragioudakis

    Dear Sponsors,

We are a small Greek community trying to keep the traditions of our Country alive. We raise our children in our church and within our faith, we sent them to Greek School to learn how to write and speak Greek. We want them to know who their ancestors were and where they came from. Our Festival funds a great part of our programs.

We ask that you assist us so we can provide the best programs for our children, the future of this community. We thank you for your consideration.

God bless you and your families.
