Southside Raiders Music Festival,

My son plays for the Southside Raiders under 11 team that we are holding the festival to raise money for. 

We have held raffles in the past to raise money but I however wanted to do this on a larger scale as I want the team to be able to go to Barcelona and play in a tournament there next year.

I have started planning and raising small amounts of money by selling pitches to craft stalls and food vendors. This money is going towards the cost of the performers, many who are performing for expenses only! The fees from the pitches will also cover the cost of the insurance for the event. 

The initial costs are spiralling with First aid, Toilets, stage, insurance, hire of bouncy castles, performer fees. 

Some parent’s think this is too big an event, this has made me more determined to make this Festival succeed.
