Nestled in the forest of Prescott, AZ lies a one of a kind Super Smash Bros. tournament experience on the 130 acre property of Friendly Pines Camp. Smash Camp is drawing Super Smash Bros. talent from across the Southwest, including a growing number of the top 100 Super Smash Bros. Melee players in the world.
Why should you sponsor?
The event is a grasroots-organized gaming tournament with an enthusiastic group of individuals and well-established community behind it. Smash Camp will be supported and streamed by SAK Gaming, the largest fighting game organization in Arizona. SAK events such as Runback and Rewired have attracted stream viewership of over 5,000 and in-person attendance of over 200. Smash Camp promises to reach similar popularity among a growing esports community.
I have been working in a number of capacities with Arizona's Super Smash Bros. community for the past three years, including assisting in organizing a number of successful events, promotional content creation, and broadcasting. I know what it takes to run an esports event such as this one well from several standpoints.
