About the event

As the festive season is around, we are here with the most awaited and talked event of the year "SHAGUN PARTY' curated by Mumo - Mumbai Moms. MUMO - Mumbai Moms is always curating events for women to be part of meets that ensures unity in diversity where members from all cultures, castes, religion, creed come together and be part of the celebration.

So, as we are very close to "Karwachauth" which is just prior to "Diwali" and both the festivals being celebrated across, Karwachauth being predominantly a Punjabi ritual we wanted to integrate all this together.  To celebrate the  which will ensure a great synergy of different religions coming together to celebrate oneness. Around 300 plus ladies participate in this event every year.

Karva Chauth and Pre Diwali Bash has now transformed into a much anticipated occasion which calls for a social gathering and an elated party. We have made this event grandeur every year –This is the 4th successful year of this event -Women are invited ,Keeping with the essence of Karva Chauth and Diwali get together , lots of modern themes and fun activities are planned around the party. This event is primarily conducted in premium suburbs of Bandra, Khar or Andheri at a high end venue with only upper middle class and above as attendees.
Last year it was attended by 380 women in Khar with “Wakhra Swag”  as theme and this year it is "Subh - Vivaah"

We are proud to share that our Mumbai Chapter 'MUMO Mumbai Moms' story has been used as a case study by Facebook at the launch of a new feature called "Group Discover" and Sheryl Sandberg (COO of FB) has quoted us as her favorite group on Facebook.
