About the event

The CRUSH Summer Series is an up and coming grass volley tournament series in the central NJ area, with plans to expand to eastern PA next summer. We provide fun, social tournaments for both amateur and semi-pro/pro players. Our events have music, food/drinks, and all-day volleyball for players of all ages and skill levels, as well as spectators.

We've run two very successful tournaments so far, with about 100 people at each event, and we're looking to rapidly grow our events to become a premier volleyball tournament organization in New Jersey and PA. We run a unique gender-blind doubles and quads format not normally seen in the area, to promote gender equality and make our events unique and fun.

Cash prizes for tournament winners are a huge draw for competitive volleyball players, and we'd love to find a sponsor to help us give out more prize money for our Open/AA (Pro) division and grow our events. Dan Wadlinger

Hi, I'm Dan Wadlinger and I've been running NJ Social/Competitive Volleyball club in the central NJ area for the last 3 years. I saw a major lack of large grass volleyball tournaments in the area, so I found a great partner, re-branded my organization to CRUSH Volley, and started a grass volleyball tournament series.

My business partner, Alexis Sirkin, majored in marketing at Muhlenberg College and worked in the marketing department at Penn Mutual. She's used this knowledge and experience to jump-start our tournament series, going from 0 to 100 (literally 0 to 100 people) in no time flat, and has the drive and the skills to help us keep growing.

We're both avid volleyball players and coaches, with connections to thousands of volleyball players in the tri-state area, from playing in and running tournaments and open gyms, as well as coaching teams and clinics.

We always keep a positive attitude both on and off the court, and we never stop striving to achieve our goals. We're looking to grow our tournaments, open a volleyball-focused athletic facility next year, and promote the sport of volleyball as much as possible.
