The River City Chili Cook-Off is a one-night epic chili cook-off battle royale featuring over a dozen restaurants serving up unlimited samples and competing for the title of Judge's & People's choice chili, all while raising money for charity.

Did you know that jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) have grown by almost 80%since 1990? STEM jobs outpace the overall U.S. job growth, which is one of many reasons why Our Lady of Grace School (OLG) is working hard to stay at the forefront of STEM education. We must modernize our aging campus to provide the space, materials, and supplies needed for STEM education while providing a safe environment for our students to learn. 

OLG offers families in Yolo and Sacramento counties with students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade a school choice with a diverse, faith-based, and well-rounded education. Unlike traditional schools, OLG relies on tuition and fundraising efforts, not government funding, to provide our students with a high-quality education in a safe and secure setting. It is the gracious support from organizations like yours that help OLG keep our students safe, and set the foundation for their future successes.

 Thanks to our in-kind sponsors, close to 80% of cash donations directly benefit educational programs at OLG. Meaning your donation doesn't underwrite the cost of the event - the majority of your donation goes directly to benefit the 320+ students at OLG.

Michael Babowal

My name is Michael Babowal, and I have the pleasure of chairing this wonderful event for the past 3-years and have been involved in 5 of the 6 years this event has been put on. I am on the OLG Advisory Committee with a role of public relations, outreach, and marketing. My three sons attend OLG and are in kindergarten, first and third grades.
