Ricky Allen Memorial Kid's Fishing Tournament,

About the event

The event we are trying to gets sponsorship for is the Ricky Allen Memorial kid's Fishing Tournament. The tournament is in honor of my dad, Ricky Allen, who died from stage four pancreatic cancer last year. Besides raising awareness for this terrible disease, we will be raising money for the Hirshberg Foundation For Pancreatic Cancer Research.

The five year survivor rate for pancreatic cancer in only nine percent, much to low. My dad died ten month after being diagnosed.

Loosing my dad was hard enough but loosing him to cancer and watching him just get sicker and sicker has forever changed me and my family. My family and I want to help find a cure and give other families, going through what we went through, hope.  Any help to help us do that would be very appreciated.

Why should you sponsor?

All sponsors will get there name or logo on the flyers for the event and on a large banner at the event. Flyers will be placed around the Alexandria, Boyce and Lena areas in Louisiana.

My names Daphne Denison and Ricky Allen was my dad. I will be hosting the fishing tournament with the rest of my family. Pictures of the tournament will be posted on a page for the event on Facebook, sponsors are welcome to follow the event.
