It is well known that most children have not much to do during the Summer as school is off and their parents are busy with work.
It is also well known, that ice hockey is an expensive sport that most parents cannot afford and therefore its decline quality-wise in the Czech Republic, as well as having young persons who are dreaming of being hockey players but have to give up on their dreams due to finances.
Finally, it is also known that instruction for youth hockey players ages eight years old and younger should focus on long-term skill development and emphasize a fun playing setting more so than game competition, while instruction for older players should focus on not being selfish and being there for the others. Such instructions should be given by such persons the youth would look up to with admiration and respect.
We want to combine these factors of youth that would simply sit at home and stop socialising AND great professional players and coaches who would love to show kids how to be a member of a team and how to learn to take care of each other.
The camp should be held from June to end of August, when NHL players and staff are available due to their off-season. We will therefore be able to arrange top coaches for the teams, not only from the Czech Republic but also from other countries, which would give a bigger inside to the various cultural mentalities and mutual respect of nationalities and beliefs
The camp will focus on:
Small games training, team play, body contact, puck protection. Plus, our complete office program (daily video/lectures anddrylandtraining), video analysis, a customized electronic playerevaluation/profile, and much more. The sessions will be divided into daily on-ice and off-ice trainings
