About the event

RAREfest 2018 starts on 30th Nov with an evening of celebration of those living with rare disease. Motivational and Inspirational speakers, rare musicians and a dance performance from Cambridge Rare Disease Networks' Unique Feet childrens group.

Saturday 1st Decemebre is a day lone exhibition: immerse yourself in cool science and technologies, take part in creating,  making and experinecing , meet peopel and support networks, hear pwerful speakers, ask questions, watch films in our silent cinema

RAREfest 18 is the first of its kind event , bringing togther new technologies, treatments and care under one roof.

Sponsors will empathise with the unmet needs of rare disease patients and know that they are bringing value into this forgotten group of people's lives.

A little will help a lot as rare diseases, collectively are not rare and affect one in 17 of the UK population.

As the CEO of Cambridge Rare Disease Network and the mother of two children with an ultra rare disease, who we sadly lossed following heart transplants- I am personally and professionally committed to improving the lives of people affected by rare disease.
