About the event

Ramaskrik Film Festival is a horror and fantasy film festival that takes place over four days at Oppdal Kulturhus, in the mountain town of Oppdal, Norway. Our venue has two great movie theatres with a total capacity of 540. In addition to film screenings, we have several film introductions by Norwegian and international guests, work-in-progress presentations and short films. We are proud to have a very loyal and dedicated audience from all over the country. 2023 will be our 13th edition of Ramaskrik.

You will connect with a very loyal, dedicated and engaged audience consisting of young adults, students and hard core movie fans. Our audience is males and females mostly. aged 20-40. Oppdal is a small town so by supporting Ramakrik you will be very visible. 

Ramaskrik has also proven itself to have a sound economy, not using more money than we get in. So by supporting the festival you will help us to grow and acchive our goal to become one of the essential genre film festivals in Europe.

Our festival is run by a core team of three people. We have worked with film-, and music festivals and run cinemas for close to 50 years combined. The festival is owned by Oppdal Kulturhus and has very sound finances. We run the fesival very efficently and proffesional and we have a very good reputation, nationaly and internationaly.
