  • About the event

    Quoth The Raven Halloween Bash has become an annual community Halloween event held at Kimbro's Pickin' Parlor in downtown Franklin, TN. Local indie rock group Little Raven makes it more than just a live music show. In the spirit of DIY creativity, the evening is fully equipped with a self-built haunted house, costume contest, photo booth with professional photographers, and giveaways and souvenirs for attendees (more activities are also being planned this time around including astrology readings, pumpkin smashing, and a unique horror-themed food and drink menu). The turnout last year was fantastic and more than expected, and since then, we have already gotten several requests about this next one, which will be held on Saturday, October 28th. And this year, in order to really give back, we're donating admittance and raffle ticket proceeds to The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP), a music-based educational organization dedicated to enriching and empowering the lives of students of all ages with learning and other cognitive disabilities.

    Why should you sponsor?

    We believe in the spirit of community and one of the main ways we know we can help foster that and give back to that is by putting together fun, interactive events through live music. We're big advocates of promoting groups, companies, and causes that have a great product that trends well with the modern music scene and its audience, and that promotes growth and enrichment in local communities. As a sponsor, you would not only be associated with a popular and happening music community scene in Franklin, TN (Music City's little brother, so to speak), you would be getting recognition for your brand through a continual relationship with the venue, our group, and the patrons and audience attending. Plus, there is the contribution to The Rhythmic Arts Project, a meaningful and needed eductional program and an official 501(c)(3) to include in tax write-offs.

    Born in Los Angeles but raised in Franklin, TN, I have been involved in the music scene in Nashville for 10+ years as a professional musician and music instructor, and have always had the ambition to make things happen for groups through networking, managing, booking, and hosting events. I'm huge on engaging communication and collaborating with people see a project through and make it a success. I'm also an advocate in making sure there's mutual benefit across the board for those involved in a project (I want everyone to be happy and proud of an end result). My group Little Raven is my pride and joy (more than just a career) and we set out to associate our music with interactive, memorable experiences that go beyond just putting out the music itself. Also, we're huge nerds and love horror- and Halloween-related stuff, so this particular event has been so much fun for us while working together with good, hard-working folks.

Drink Sponsor

Kimbro's Pickin' Parlor, the bar/music venue hosting the event, traditionally sells pumpkin ales by certain craft breweries (Shipyard being a major one) and prepared with a unique "spiced ale" presentation. If given the sponsorship, we would go all out with advertising the sponsor side-by-side with event promotional content. Special mention of the sponsor will be made throughout the evening from the stage host and bartending staff. Sponsor logo will be featured outside/inside of venue, on all promo materials, and in the event's online presence.
