Star Williams

Mrs. Star Williams has been blessed with inner strength and a deep passion for building networking connections among women. More than six years ago, Mrs. Williams began to form the vision of an organization that would touch the lives of female entrepreneurs from all walks of life and throughout this country. Emerged from her efforts, Mrs. Williams began her role as CEO and founder of Power Forward Woman on June 1, 2012.  
 
Over the past years, what started as simple networking has become a Power Forward Woman Movement! This miraculous Movement is growing in numbers and deeds.  It encompasses a group of women dedicated to reaching common goals, becoming empowered, empowering others.  The Power Forward Woman Movement was created on the premise that women across America would be given the opportunity to network and share their inspiring stories. We strive to bring women together from around the globe in an effort to build strong relationships and support systems to achieve their goals.   
 
Our ultimate goal is to help women transform their lives to a level they’ve only dreamed of, mentally, physically, and emotionally. In addition to giving her unrelenting service in the United States Navy for 20 years until she retired in 2015, Mrs. Williams has given in abundance to the community. Since starting Power Forward Woman she has supported charities such as, Mocca Sister 4 Life, JB Dondolo, Life of Hope After Abuse, Survivors With Voices, and most recently Center of Empowerment for Families & Youth by providing volunteer support and in some cases financial support. Valuing each other’s mission and vision we are deliberate when giving of donations to each other’s causes.  
Continuously providing women with the support that they need globally, she has contributed to renowned organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Home Life (Thailand). 
 
Even while serving her country, she received the Military Voluntary Service Award from her community work in countries such as Italy, Korea, and Africa.  Stemming from her passion of community involvement, she recently launched her own 501(c)(3) organization in March 2015 called Stars United Global Outreach, which is dedicated to providing support to at risk youth. 
 
As the Power Forward Woman realizes, we have multiple roles in our families, on our jobs, communities and for some overseas.  There is a cause for extra effort to balance everyday life and run a business successfully. To help face those challenges, Power Forward Woman hosts professional enrichment opportunities from life skills to small business coaching sessions and workshops throughout the year. In addition to our workshops and seminars, we invite women from diverse backgrounds to our annual empowerment conference to hear a dynamic word from some extraordinary women that are devoted to providing the knowledge, tools, and resources that will help push each woman towards their purpose.  We see transformation as a progressive process. Speaking our prosperity into the atmosphere or not, each one of us has an idea of what needs to change in our lives; and that change starts now.  
 
Power Forward Woman continues to provide ways those changes can come to pass. Women across the globe are invited to join the movement by becoming a member of this well sought after organization!  Being a part of the Power Forward Woman Movement membership has its privileges!
