About the event

10 constestant students will pitch their entrepreneurial ideas in a shark-tank style elevator pitch competition at the University of Texas at Arlington. Contestants have a 120-second time limit (like on an elevator ride) to sell a concept to an experienced panel of judges, investors and venture capitalists. Finalists will be given an exclusive opportunity to compete for a grand prize of $10,000! The #PitchUTA Elevator Pitch Competition is produced by Agni and is hosted by the College of Business at UT Arlington. The competition gives participants two minutes to convey the value of their business venture to a panel of judges.

Sameer Ingavale

My name is Sameer Ingavale and I am one of the founders of Agni. I was the Vice-president of Entrepreneur Society at UTA where we brought in millionaire and multi-millionaire speakers to share their journey with students. We consistently drew a crowd of over 70 people. I am a recent graduate and now we want to scale that to new heights. All Agni's founders have past experience of hosting similar events at University of Texas at Arlington that catered to the entrepreneurial demographic. We are involved in the DFW start-up scene and have strong connections with entrepreneurial Influencers and speakers.
