Not just another festival during festival season. We bring the best art, SOUL and culture from the Bay State to one place all year round.
Being a smaller state on the East Coast, MA has gotten outshadowed a bit as a hub by states with cities like New York and Atlanta even though Boston is a big tourist site. With the rise of this sentiment companies like The Record Company and Boston Calling have started paying credit to the immense scene in Boston. But there is a big scene being missed like the hip hop circle in Boston AND the rest of Massachusetts like Salem (Token), Worcester (Joyner Lucas), and the Pioneer Valley (Dark World). There also needs to be an awareness of all arts and genres in MA including commerce and food.
Pass The SOUL intends to not only bridge the gap across all MA culture, both east and western, but show it off to those that attend the festival. We do all this all while keeping the festival goer and artist interaction intimate. Each year Pass The SOUL alternates location from an Eastern Massachusetts location to a Western Massachusetts location. The aim is to also get people very familiar with the performing acts prior to the festival through media coverage in the off season with podcasts, blogs, and YouTube segments.

Massachusetts has an ecosystem that has been left sleeping by artists and creators migrating to other states that already have their culture tapped. Pass the SOUL intends to spotlight the next big artists and brands and showcase them in on SOULful event across the state so that tourists and state natives can see it and be a part of that journey. The missing link is a company like yours being the catalyst for this ecosystem coming to life.
My name is Anthony Prieto. I've cared about art and culture since I could say the word art. I am a Massachusetts native, an artist myself, and Holyoke Community College Business School Graduate that turned down the opportunity to go to UMass' Isenberg School of Business to persue this mission to show the world what MA is hiding behind New Yorks giant buildings. I like to believe I've devoted enough time to the industry from the art and business perspective. I've learned a lot from watching The Record Company (Boston) CEO Matt McArthur successfully vivifying Boston's art scene.
