We plan to host the largest international art exhibition of artists living with Parkinson’s Disease; an exhibition in a London space, plus virtual facsimile online, to consist of 30-40 curated pieces on the theme of Movement, and include work from preceding competition. The exhibition will also include a selection of poetry written for the event.
In addition, we plan virtual interactive experiences with artists talking about their artwork and living with Parkinson’s Disease. We want to celebrate the art of people with Parkinson’s and raise awareness in the general public at the same time.
There are currently 10 million people living with Parkinson’s Disease. This number is set to rise. Due to the debilitating nature of Parkinson’s, many who are suffering from the condition are left isolated from society. This situation is made worse by COVID-19.
This project will be the largest international art exhibition of artists living with Parkinson’s Disease. The event will be a physical exhibition with an exact on-line replica. This will open the event to a wider audience. Our target is to receive 20,000 viewers to the online exhibition.
Sponsoring this event will offer you a unique opportunity to engage with the international Parkinson's Community and the wider general public.
