PANTY RAID,

Brooklyn, New York, New York, United States Brooklyn, New York, New York, United States

  • About the event

    Dear Prospective Sponsor,
Thank you so much for considering to sponsor ArtBlck’s 2nd monthly pop-up event,PANTY RAID. We are thrilled that you have expressed interest, and hope you will closely consider the information enclosed to become our next Sponsor. A new company, ArtBlck has hit the ground running since its BETA launch on March 1st, consistently generating new content in film and literature and hosting a successful 1st pop up event at Dixon Place on March 20th. We hope to continue exponentially increasing this success through our 2nd pop-up event, PANTY RAID.

An indoor, “Smorgasburg”-style event, PANTY RAID is a day-long festival consisting of local artisan vendors and creatives in a flea market-style setting. The event will consist of 8-13 booths offering niche goods and services targeting a fresh, young Brooklyn market. Live music will be playing throughout while beverages and food are served. The day will conclude with a live taping of the new podcast “Coffee & Anal” hosted by Nancy Pop and Kimberly Rios, an EP release by Megan MacDermott, and a third featured performance (TBA).

    Why should you sponsor?

★ "PANTY RAID" aims to provide a full-day festival of local Brooklyn culture by showcasing local artisan vendors in a fun, Smorgasburg-style indoors setting targeted towards mid 20's-mid 30's creative types throughout New York City and its surrounding areas. We aim to promote ARTBLCK as a new and exciting digital platform for creatives to network both on and offline, as well as the new podcast "Coffee & Anal" with co-hosts Kimberly Rios and Nancy Pop. Ten percent of all proceeds will go towards MYTHIC BRIDGE, a non-profit organization committed to providing filmmaking education to the underserved, at-risk youth in NYC who are dealing with financial, emotional, physical, and/or situational hardships.

★ Our event will take place on either Sunday, April 30th or Sunday, May 6th from 2-8pm (location pending). The first 4 hours of our event will focus heavily on vendors promoting their brands and products/services while we offer live music, food, and beverages to guests to create a fun “panty raid”-esque atmosphere. Free admission will attract the fresh, young street crowd passing by in either the Williamsburg or Gowanus area. A heavy social media marketing campaign will focus on generating an estimated live crowd of 350-500 coming in and out throughout the day. The final two hours of the event will focus on featured performances, including but not yet limited to a live recording of the podcast “Coffee & Anal” and an EP release by local singer/artist Megan MacDermott.
