About the event

Dear Friends, 

Pawsitively 4 Pink is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is devoted to making a difference in our Worcester County community. We provide financial support for low-income underserved women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Massachusetts has the fourth-largest population of women with breast cancer, and Worcester is ranked as one of the top 20 low-income cities in the United States. Sponsorships like yours are directly impacting the lives of Worcester County women. We have been able to assist more than 10 women this year.

We are holding our second annual Major fundraiser on April 4, 2020, at St. Bernard’s Church located at 236 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605. With your help last year we were able to raise an amazing $43,000 and this year our campaign's goal is $75,000. The funds from the campaign are intended to help with the unforeseen cost after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Such as, numerous co-pays, medical costs that are not paid for by insurance companies and most importantly lost wages. In order to meet our goal, we are asking for sponsorships from our local businesses and individuals. 

Depending on the level of sponsorship that you choose, you have the opportunity to be recognized and acknowledged in several ways. On the following pages are our sponsorship levels and how collaborating with Pawsitively 4 Pink can benefit both P4P and your business. Pawsitively 4 Pink was founded after I witnessed the journeys of a close friend, my foster mother and most recently, two other family members who were diagnosed with breast cancer

I have seen the devastating effects physically, psychologically and emotionally that this disease has inflicted on these loved ones and their families. After talking with these women I would never have guessed the internal struggles they were experiencing. But behind their faces were hardship and heartache. 

Receiving such a diagnosis can be life-altering. Handling the news is often a challenge no matter what the prognosis. Clear to me was that their diagnosis was compounded by issues not often addressed initially: missed days of work, numerous medical expenses, transportation issues, and a minimal support system, to name a few.

With the help of Pawsitively 4 Pink, many of these concerns could be addressed and alleviated or in some cases eliminated.
