One Night One School,

About the event

November 16th I will be hosting a gala to raise money to build a school in Honduras. The goal is to raise $30,000 enough to build it. 

I will have a silent auction, appetizers for the guest, and I will have a singer as special guest. 

The guest will purchase their tickets and will be able to see a video of how the school is going to be and stories from families and kids from Honduras and the reason why they need a school.

Why should you sponsor?

This would help reduce our overhead costs for the event and ensure that the majority of the money we raise goes to building schools. Maria Reyes

My name is Maria Reyes from with Students Helping Honduras (SHH), an organization dedicated to alleviating violence and poverty in Honduras through education and youth empowerment.  SHH builds schools in undeserved communities throughout Honduras, with the ultimate goal of building 1,000 schools across the country and eliminating the gap in educational infrastructure.

This year I am hosting a fundraising event in New York City with the goal of raising $30,000 – enough to build one school in Honduras.
