  • About the event

A red carpet event to celebrate and recognise the strong, independent woman making a name for themselves in the hair and beauty world. The National Asian African Stylist Awards hopes to set pulses racing through the nation to champion its best of the best in beauty and style. To organise a platform that will bring people together from the lucrative sector of beauty and fashion. A celebration indulging two cultures shaping the future of hair styles and makeup artists as well as recognising the female talent making big changes to innovate the fashion industry.

    Why should you sponsor?

The National Asian & African Stylist Awards wishes to invite you and the nation to an evening of success, triumph and celebrations. The NAAS Awards wants to be the main stage for influential females making a change in technology, beauty and lifestyle. The platform encourages to build social relations and integrate two great cultures. Awards will be given to recognize significant achievements over the past year and applaud peers for their hard work and dedication. This is for all the committed years put in behind that camera, make up brush and hairspray. After the thousands of likes and comments to brand a career from your dressing table should be something to be acknowledged. This is to support the next generation of females, this is to show off our next Role Models.

    Yaseen Farmer

My name is Yaseen Farmer I am 22 years old and currently working as a Procurement Graduate for the NHS. My inspiration for this comes from two sources. Firstly, the community I have been brought up in; East London, a place full of multi-cultural enthusiasm yet ignored and looked down upon by the mainstream media. It has become a phenomenon for professional in the hair and beauty businesses and beauty academies with no platform to recognise this excellence. My second reason is with my younger sister, a 16 year old going into the big world. With so many beauty queens, bloggers and vloggers being attacked by ignorance I want to create a new spotlight that values these young talented woman in our life.
