About the event

OVERVIEW
The Miss Runway Competition was created for aspiring female models ages 4 and older, all ethnicities and from across the globe to allow them the opportunity to express themselves on the runway by showcasing their runway skills and fashion sense. This competition increases self-esteem and build confidence in their character. We will assist with developing these young ladies to become role models and a spoke person against bullying and their platform of choice to bring awareness in their communities. The Miss Runway Competition will allow the model contestants an opportunity to showcase their runway skills, fashion style, overall appearance and stage personality.  There will be three (3) groups and a total of eight age divisions competing for the title of Miss Runway in their age division.

The Miss Runway Competition Age Divisions  Mini ages 4-6, Tiny ages 7-9, Tween ages 10-12, Teen 13-17, Miss ages 18 -28(single no kids), Miss Curves ages 18 -28(single no kids) size 14-28, Ambassadors Ages 30+ or by status of having kids but not married, and Mrs. Ages 18 and older must be legally married and not separated. All Winners in age divisions will win the title for one year, Crown, Sash, flowers, trophy, professional photo shoot, CD portfolio, and prize packages from sponsors. The Miss Winner will be will attend New York Fashion Week, attend networking events, make appearances to promote the title, a spokes model for Miss Runway TV, some paid bookings, fabulous prizes and tons of exposure. Prize packages are prepared based on the age divisions and each package is different. However, we receive new sponsors during the year and prizes can be added.

Why should you sponsor?

We have had much success from our previous productions held at the Hallandale Cultural Arts Center, Embassy Suites Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Doral Golf Resort & Spa, the Hollywood Performance Center,   Miramar Culture Center and looking forward to returning to the Miramar Cultural Center for Season 10.  There will be a red carpet ceremony featuring the contestants wearing wardrobe representing their fashion sense, and live performances from local recording artists and new talent. The production of the “Miss Runway Competition” will truly be a night to remember.  The competition will feature young aspiring models that will showcase their runway skills that they’ve learned during training provided by our professional runway staff or training that they’ve received from other sources. This competition will develop and boost the self-esteem of these intelligent, talented and beautiful young top models.
