About the event
October 2-5, 2019 44 contestants who competed at state and regional preliminaries throughout the year to qualify will meet in St Louis, MO to compete for the title of Miss Gay America 2020. October 2 and 3 all contestants will compete at Hamburger Mary's St Louis for a place in the Top 10.
October 4, Miss Gay America's from 1972 to today will entertain the crowd in a Revue show celebrating Miss Gay America 2019 Andora TeTee.
October 5, the top 10 is announced at the Gateway Classic Events in O'Fallen IL as they compete for the title of Miss Gay America 2020 in a "Beyond the Stars" themed event.

Miss Gay America has been in existence since 1972, and is the longest continually running pageant for female impersonators. Since the beginning of the gay rights movement, drag queens have been instrumental in fighting for and ensuring equal rights for the queer community. This organization grooms young queer men to continue this movement through empowerment, self acceptance, and leadership. Our title holders have become some of the biggest names in the community for young, new outed gay men to look up to. Additionaly, we have caught the attention of main stream media and celebrities for the work that our organization does. Just two years ago, Lady Gaga accepted the title of "Honorary Miss Gay America", which was given for her tireless work with the gay community. This made world news, and helped us spread our message in places across the globe that we never thought possible. With sponsorship, we can do the same, and help millions across the globe.
Michael DutzerMad Angel Entertainment purchased the Miss Gay America pageant in 2016 and we are working to take the pageant to new levels. We have increased production. Each year we grow and take the pageant to more viewer with online streaming events and live productions across the country. This is a work of passion for us and want to see it grow and hopefully get it to other media or streaming options in the near future.
