About the event

Made 2 Glam is dedicated to young ladies displaced from their home and in the urban community realize they are born to be MADE-Making A Difference Everywhere.

We are hosting our MADE Expo on October 5, 2019 at the Bartlett Municipal Center. This event is a first of its kind for the City of Memphis. The Expo will be comprised of different activities and workshops.  The scope of the MADE Expo is to educate our ladies,  experience the College Lounge, and the GLAM Awards spotlighting young ladies within the community. Deidra Chism Hawkins

My name is Deidra Chism Hawkins, Executive Director of Made 2 Glam, Inc.  I have been working as the Executive Director of Made 2 Glam, Inc for 2 years. To gain a better understanding of the nonprofit sector, I received my Masters in Public Administration-NonProfit Management.

I am also an educator in the public school system working with students in grades 3-5 with learning disabilities. I am passionate about our youth and inspiring them to move in the right direction.
