    We're reimagining what it means to attend a wine festival.

    Jonathan, the founder attended the Amsterdam Wine Festival and witnessed in real life one of the best events he'd ever been to. 

    Wines from around the world, great food and entertainment by way of live bands and fun games like pétanque. He was with a group of friends who've all started ordering directly from suppliers from that festival. Something the UK does not do well right now, in enabling the public to try wines and be exposed to wineries they may not have heard of before.

    After discussions with wineries, everyone is very excited about this, as they've said there's no other event quite like it in the UK. 

    Wine is still perceived as intimidating, quite formal and egotistical in the UK, with many events unappealing to a huge range of existing wine drinkers. This limits the ability for wineries and producers to expose their brand and wines to a large audience who may genuinely like their wines, but just never get the opportunity to try them. Wine shops these days are not enjoyable to go to - being where you'd usually go to taste new wines. And most wine is marketed around tasting notes and points, instead of any sense of enjoyment and fun.

    The London Wine Festival is changing this. We're appealing to the generation who are not wanting to dress up formally, or discuss notes and points of wine. We simply allow people to experience and enjoy amazing wines with great music and conversation, in an informal setting. Whilst also supporting wineries to expose their brands to a wider demographic, who may not have heard of them, or experienced their wines before.

    Most are eager to learn and be inspired, though just in a less formal and more fun setting.

    Wine is a social drink, a connector that is meant to be shared and enjoyed. It is for entertaining and engaging - and starting the conversation.

    Why should you sponsor?

    Any sponsor will be along for the journey, both pre and post-event.

    Being the inaugural London Wine Festival, and doing what they do in Amsterdam so well already, we'll be working with any partners to ensure what they are trying to achieve out of this, is accommplished.

    An events organiser for years, having come from a hospitality background working in some of the UK's & the world's most prestigious 5-star hotels, including The Savoy, Claridge's, The Berkeley, The Connaught, the County Hall Marriott, to name a few, I ventured off to create what became the UK's second-largest sports event in its category.

    I organised 8 events a year with each event attracting between 5,000 and 14,000 attendees.

    With 5* reviews all around, it was a phenomenal success with all our partners staying with us for years, including the likes of PowerBar and Lloyds Bank.

    Now I'm transitioning back from sports into Hospitality and this event has been born out of my own frustrations with what the UK has to offer at the moment. 

    Having attended the Amsterdam Wine Festival a few times now, and having discussed this with various wineries, it's apparent it's a needed and wanted event, but no one has done this yet.

    The Amsterdam Wine Festival runs two events each year, both events attracting 20,000 attendees.

Food Sponsor

We're seeking food sponsors to support our food offerings at the event. What this would entail is your brand in an area with a food element in a country. We'll work with you to create a backdrop and activations in the food area that's going to work for us both. Price is subject to change based on the modelling of the zone and what activations we agree on.

Sponsor of "Zone" at the event

At the London Wine Festival there will be various "zones". These include countries, specialisms or anything we feel like creating. By becoming a sponsor of a Zone, all attendees will be entering into a specific "Zone" as they walk through the event (much like an airport or Ikea they have to walk through each zone before they leave). This will be discussed with the sponsor and we'd create and furnish a zone accordingly with a sponsor. Think "Coachella" stands and how brands create zones and stands there! Price is subject to change based on the modelling of the zone and what activations we agree on.

Headline sponsor. This is an all-encompassing sponsorship packaging which will showcase your brand on the LWF website, ticketing, comms, social media platforms, adverts we create and push out and activations at the event.
