What makes the event special?
We open up a platform to unconventional content matter on important dialogues that spread awareness in multiple compelling forms.
What makes it compelling?
Gender issues are topics that are often not discussed in our society. Owing to the changing dynamics of gender roles in society, it is essential to encourage discussions about this as they are sure to have beneficial impacts in the future.
Why do attendees love it?
As our participants are at a impressionable age in their lives, we feel that their capacity to shape the workforce with their consuming habits in the future is largely dependent on the mindsets they have. Consequently, our workshop aims to shape these mindsests for the better through the multi-facted and creative approach of our activities.
From discussing deep, probing questions to decorating a tampon message tree, Lilac Parity is the event to be!
Sponsory of our event would recieve visiblity on platforms such as social media, posters, merchandise, verbal shoutouts etc.
By sponsoring our event, sponsors open themselves up to interacting with student initiatives and gaining connections with other partners, especially our lead collaborator, UN Women.
The event will be hosted at an international school. The venue is conducive to learning, fitted with infrastructure neccessary for a successful workshop such as a large auditorium, conference rooms, and a functional cafeteria.
Beyond the event itself, sponsors shall gain a permanent spot on the Lilac Parity website. Sponsors may gain an upper hand in future collaborative projects between us and UN Women.
I worked with two friends to create this fun-filled event for the youth. We are IB diploma students interested in social causes and want to convey their importance to those around us. Working closely with the Head of Public Awareness and Youth Initiatives at the Singapore Committee for UN Women, we strongly feel that you can be confident in sponsoring our event and it will be worthwhile decision.
