About the event
Liberté Model United Nations, as a part of its aim of providing holistic academic and co-curricular education, plans to host a Model United Nations Conference from the 9th June to 10th June 2018, expecting more than 300 participants, for which we are seeking sponsors.
What is Model United Nations?
A Model UN is a recreation of the United Nations proceedings, with students role-playing representatives of different countries in UN committees like the General Assembly, All India Political Parties Meet etc. The purpose of a Model UN is for students to achieve a greater understanding not only of the UN, but also of global issues, through an interactive and enjoyable educational experience. It is an attempt to engage students with global challenges, and encourage them to think creatively with an international outlook to problem-solving, that attracts many of the brightest minds in the country.

Our moto stands clear in providing our valuable participants, a liberal environment to express their thoughts, an equal opportunity to inculcate the value and importance of uniformity and balanced judgement and to create a diplomatic simulation that emphasis on the spirit of fraternity.
We believe that by creating an environment that provides, freedom of speech and expression combined with an unbiased and equal opportunity of that expression with the essence of unity and brotherhood, will not only hone the individual skills of diplomacy, professionalism and public speaking but would also make the delegates aware about global issues of a significant matter.
The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow; hence we aim at providing a simulation that maximises learning and holistic growth of an individual.
