About the event
Legend Race is the leading locally owned obstacle race series, based in Raleigh North Carolina. We are a feature on the OCR circuit and attract racers from across Noth Carolina and surrounding states to compete. Our Winter race is part of a series of three races in 2018.
Legend Race has been operating since 2013, and has held more than 14 highly successful races. In addition to races, Legend Race owns and operates the Legend FIT gym in North Carolina.
Why should you sponsor?
Obstacle Course Racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, surpassing triathalon in terms of number of participants. Races attract both elite athletes and weekend warriors from varying fitness backgrounds including running and cross training.
Philip ClarkI am a competitive obstacle course racer, competing for personal pride in a variety of race series across the country. I love this sport and spend about 10 hours per week training for races. I credit Legend Race and founder Fred Augustine with sparking my enthusiasm and getting me out from behind my office desk. I have lost more than 40 pounds and am fitter than i have ever been in my life. My story and thousands like it are typical of obstacle course racers. This sport is making a real difference in people's lives.
