AMERICAN ACTRESS, PRODUCER AND TELEVISION HOST

Fox’s breakthrough came in 1996, with roles in two box-office hit films, Roland Emmerich‘s Independence Day and F. Gary Gray‘s  Set It Off. Fox later has starred in films Booty Call (1997), Soul Food (1997), Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998), Kingdom Come (2001), Two Can Play That Game (2001), and Boat Trip (2002). From 2003 to 2006, she co-starred in and produced the Lifetime crime drama series, Missing, for which she received NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Fox has also produced a number of straight-to-video films.

Kickstart: Health & Wellness Expo is an all day women’s health & wellness expo that includes specific educational workshops presented by medical professionals, naturopathic doctors, and other health experts. The expo also includes breakout fitness sessions, free health screenings, nutritional seminars, and natural hair demonstrations. In addition, this event is also an opportunity for promotional sales and networking for vendors/exhibitors.

BGH was founded in 2014, by television journalist Porcha Johnson. Black Girl Health focuses on preventative care nutrition and fitness. BGH is committed to online outreach targeting minorities in underserved areas. Our mission is to reduce the health disparities among minorities and communities with the highest risks.

All women, regardless of creed or nationality can share and gain knowledge through all of our platforms. our BGH health professionals provide holistic advice to help minority women discover ways to make their health a priority.
