About the event

Dear Further Sponsor,

Our foundation is getting ready for our annual Sickle Cell Walk event that will take place on September 23, 2017 starting at East End Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina 27801. This year’s theme is Walking with a Warrior. Our goal is to raise $3,000.00 dollars that will be used for Warrior Fun Days, Sickle Cell Workshops and Youth Empowerment Conference. To meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals such as yourself.

By giving to this annual event you’ll be supporting the Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation, Inc. and helping us provide assistance to those in our community. We ask that you will consider a sponsorship donation of $500.00. Your donation will be recognized at our event in several ways. As a sponsor, your name will be placed on all banners that publicized the event as well as announced verbally at the event itself.

With you donation you will help the foundation raise money to continue the work that we are trying desperately needed in our community! We all need the education of what Sickle Cell is and the effect it can have in a persons body.

I am Ja'Quan R. Phillips, founder of Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation, Inc. We are a foundation that believes in youth empowerment and young people following there dreams. We are a 501(c)3 foundation in the city of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The name Jasmine comes from the founders older sister who passed away from Sickle Cell on June 13th, 2014 one day before the founders high school graduation. The pain that was felt after that big lost in the family is now has been turned around to empower youth to follow there dreams and shoot for the stars no matter how the feel. Each person and / or business that gives to the foundation will be getting the JSCW welcome package that includes 2 shirts that would be sold at the event and the foundation plans and goals packet.
