About the event
Josh-e-Naach is a premier intercollegiate Bollywood-Fusion & Garba-Raas competition happening on February 10th, 2018 at the prestigious BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Josh-e-Naach is the first ever dual competition with both traditional collegiate Garba-Raas teams and modern collegiate Bollywood-Fusion teams in the Tri-state area. We will be hosting 7 Bollywood-Fusion and 7 Garba-Raas teams. We are bringing back the dance circuit activity to the social and cultural hot-spot that is New York City and we would love for your team to join us for what will be a truly memorable weekend.
Why should you sponsor?
Other than having around 500 audience members attending the competition, Josh-E-Naach will be hosting 300 performers, 40 board members, 3-6 judges and around 16 liaisons. Your brand will get extreme exposure to not only several individuals living in New York City, but also other individuals from across the country.
This is a great way to spread the word about your brand and use people to endorse/give you positive reviews.
Since this is the first year this competition will be happening in New York, it will be getting a lot of attention from the Bollywood dance circuit which has other popular competitions across the country. Individuals from the Desi Dance Network will be present and this is a great stepping stone into this community.
Divya JethwaniI am a student at NYU and am on the board of Josh-E-Naach. In the past I have hosted various events at NYU for the South Asia society bringing high profile individuals and politcians such as Shashi Tharoor, Rahul Bose, Omar Abdullah and Manish Malhotra to the university.
