Joined at The Hip 3rd annual Marriage Retreat

Joined at The Hip Marriage Ministry uses an out-of-the- box approach for promoting God's ideal for marriage. We are very active in the community by bringing families and couples together for retreats and other social gatherings.

This is our 3rd annual Mariage Retreat. The retreat is a full weekend and is jam-packed with empowering seminars, life-changing team building activities, bazzooka ball, nature hikes and scavenger hunts. But ultimately the goal of the retreat is to provide an atmosphere for Christian Married couples to escape and recconnect with their spouses. 

Each year God blesses our attendence exponentially. last year we had 19 couples. this year we plan to double that number.

Why should you sponsor?

The reason why you should sponsor this event is simple. You as the sponsor have a unique opportunity to be a part of something great and directly effect change in someone else's life. Most of our couples come are young and just starting out in marriage. This typically means that they just can't afford to spend $300 on a marriage retreat as it would take away from other financial obligations such as housing and food expenses. They need donors and sponsor like you who feel a since of duty to impact their lives in this way by helping them get away briefly to a place of refuge and solace in their marriage.

My name is Michael Awoniyi a married father of four children. My wife and I started Joined at The Hip Marriage Ministry in 2014 because we felt the need of like-minded young Christian Couples to come together in a meaningful way. My parents are the founders of Community Alliance Network Inc. a 501(c)3 Non profit organization.

We are all in the business of helping and empowering others. We can't ignore the needs of people in our local communities. We are always looking for opportunities to use are gifts and talents in a meaningful way.
