About the event

In 2012, a very special woman lost her life due to ovarian cancer. A daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, Jill served those around her with love and compassion. She was a strong-willed, competitive woman who brought out the best in those around her. This is evident by her work as a teacher and principal for many years. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. On this day, family and friends gather from miles and states away to remember Jill. This day is filled with fun, games, and events for those in attendance, as well as an evening memorial service and talent show.

Each year, family and friends gather on this day that has been deemed "Game Day - Jill Linn Memorial" to remember a loved one who lost her life to ovarian cancer. The t-shirts are wore by all on this day as well as throught the entire year by those in attendance. With your help, you are assisting a group who has given back to cancer research for many years.
