EVENT HIGHLIGHTS 

A mega event that would be one of the major attractions during the month of March 2018.

* 15 countries being represented by around 40 + Professional Kite fliers from across the globe. 

* From ordinary kites to mega kites that weigh more than 100 Kg , Sports kite flying, Kite Surfing, Kite boarding, Kite buggying, Synchronized Kite  Flying, Night Kite Flying with LED lights & Illuminated Kites

* Dubai International Sports Kite Demonstrations to be held at an International level.

* Expecting a multinational crowd of over 20,000 people over 2 days of festivities (as per last year's count by DTCM)

* Food courts, Kite workshops and several thrills and frills for a family crowd

The 4th Dubai International Kite Festival (DIKF 2018), which will be under the patronage of DTCM, DFRE & Dubai Food Festival. DIKF will be a mix of adventure and fun, witnessing the sky filled with ordinary to mega kites which weigh more than 100 kgs. and are more than 100 to 200 feet long. A family outing which can be enjoyed alike by kids to teenagers to adults to seniors. Kites in different shapes and sizes and colors, bring smiles on the face of one and all. Expecting multinational crowd of 20000 visitors during 2 days of festivities. Dubai International Kite Festival is scheduled for 8th March at Hatta and 9th-10th of March 2018, as a Grand finale of the "Dubai Food Festival", which will be held at the Jumeirah Beach, Behind Sunset Mall.
