Our club on campus is called Cultural Ambassadors. The Food Festival is an event where people of different ethnicities come together to learn more about other cultures and expand their horizons. We will be serving food that represents Asia and Pacific Islands as it falls during Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Why should you sponsor?
A sponsor will get publicity for his/her business and also be known as a good company because sponsoring an event that is for cultural awarenss will leave a good image in people's minds. They will think that this company is willing to be diverse, inclusive and open to different thoughts.
Clemson University Cultural Ambassadors thrive on five main goals:
To spread awareness of cultural traditions in a way that empowers every participant.
To challenge preconceived notions of diverse cultures that are prevalent in society.
To foster cultural diversity in the Clemson community.
To celebrate cultures with a focus on the four heritage months: Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American Heritage Month, African-American Heritage Month, and Asian/Pacific Islander Month
To advocate for inclusivity and encourage thought-provoking discussions
